Life in Lockdown
An evening showcasing TWO projects exploring covid-19 lockdowns through interactive documentaries (or iDocs)
About this event
The two projects being showcased are
A demonstration of an iDoc that takes you through select Londoners' experience of navigating the rules, threats, possibilities and absurdities of lockdown. This project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, and led by Dr. Ella Harris of Birkbeck, University of London.
An interactive documentary that allows you to select how you'd help your neighbour in a way that celebrates the multitude of people and institutions that helped feed the hungry, comfort the lonely, and educate our children during lockdown. This project is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council, with a research team of Dr Adam Badger, Dr Jenni Cole and Dr. Oli Mould, of Royal Holloway, University of London, Dr Matthias Kispert of the University of Westminster and Prof Phil Brown of the University of Huddersfield.
